My Favorite Summer Top

You all probably know this about me but I love summer, especially summer clothes. And even though, so far, I've only talked about summer dresses and skirts, today I want to introduce to you all the perfect summer top! It is:  a) floral print b) one shoulder and c) has a little peplum flair to it! It honestly couldn't get any more cuter than that. I decided to pair this top with straight jeans and my favorite platform sandals that are under $30! and they are literally the most comfortable! I have been wanting a pair of these type of sandals for so long so when I saw them as part of the Zara sale I knew I had to buy them right away!

My Favorite (New) Hobby

Hello lovelies! I hope you are having a great Wednesday! Today, I kind of wanted to talk about something a little bit different on here and that is my newest hobby I have acquired during this quarantine and that is making flower arrangements! My grandma was a florist and I remember being so amazed at how she would arrange the flowers in a certain oder that they all complimented each other and made one big beautiful decoration. After endless scrolling on Pinterest (and I really mean endless) I was inspired to create a long flower arrangement that would go perfect in our dining room. And since summer was just right around the corner ( I did this in April!) I decided bright colors would look just perfect!

My mom and I went to Hobby Lobby and we bought all of the materials (including the baskets) needed to start! I decided that the best way to start this was by spreading out all of the flowers in our table and creating an order. I made sure that whichever flower I would put on the left side, I would also add it on the right side that way it could create a mirror effect and everything would come together in the middle. I was really happy with the overall piece and it is for sure a decor piece that we will be having for many years!

And what do you do with the leftover flowers you may ask?

You make a mini-arrangement!

The White Gardenia Pt. 2

Happy start of the week! So last Monday I introduced you all to my sister's online boutique called "The White Gardenia" and I shared my three favorite looks from her new collection. But I was so not done sharing looks to say the least! So here are my
last two looks. I hope you like them!

1. The Luna Dress

Okay I know I might've said this a couple of time but this dress definitely surprised me and I did not think I was going to like it as much as I did! It is such a light material so it is perfect for summer time and the fact that it is so versatile makes it even more perfect!

2. The Nora Top

From the moment I saw this top, I knew it was going to be my new "go to" top. During these times that we are most of our time at home, it is sometimes hard to put on a "real outfit" but with this top, you can both comfy and a cute outfit at the same time! It is also made out of the softest material so points for that.

This is all for today and I hope you enjoy them all and like them as much as I do!

The White Gardenia

Happy Monday everyone!! I am so excited for this blog post because I am collaborating with my sister's online boutique called "The White Gardenia" (how cute is the name?!) She's had this online boutique for about a year and it's always been both of our dreams to work in fashion in some way or form and it feels like we're finally both on the same page! She recently received some new arrivals for her summer collection and what better way to show it than on this blog! So without further ado, let's start with the first dress!

1. The Natalia Dress

Name after yours truly (if you don't follow me on instagram already, you would know how much I love green dresses!) the Natalia dress is the perfect summer dress! The "flowiness" of the skirt is too perfect for any summer party! I love the bright green color with the white flower print and it is so versatile as you can dress it up with some summer wedges or dress it down with sandals. Another great thing, it is $32!

2. The Elsie Dress

The Elsie Dress is everything I love into one item of clothing: Pink (check), Ruffle Detail (check) Bow (check). It is such a classic piece that I know I will wear for many summers to come! All of the pieces from her new collection are so versatile so even though I am wearing wedges with this dress, it is so easy to change it up with sandals or even sneakers! The price of this dress is also $32!

3. The Chloe Dress

This dress is definitely one that surprised me because I didn't think I was going to like it as much as I did! The Chloe Dress is a classic feminine dress with such a delicate lace pattern all throughout the dress. What I love most about this dress is the color! The burnt orange is the perfect color for a summer to fall transition piece as you can just pair it with a jean jacket when it get a little bit chillier. This dress is $36!
